The Story Behind Little Jacob's

A smiling man with short dark hair and a beard, wearing a gray T-shirt with tattooed arms, standing against a plain white background.

Little Jacob's Barbering was built around a simple belief: getting a great haircut should be a professional, enjoyable experience that fits around your life.

After years working within traditional barber shops, Jake developed a reputation for consistency, attention to detail and building genuine relationships with his clients.

Over time, he realised he wanted to create something different - a service that prioritised quality, flexibility and client experience over rushed appointment slots and busy waiting areas.

Today, Little Jacob's Barbering provides professional mobile barbering across Wiltshire and the surrounding areas, bringing expert haircuts, skin fades and beard grooming directly to homes, workplaces, hotels and events.

By working on a one-to-one basis, Jake is able to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional haircuts, building lasting relationships and ensuring every client leaves feeling their absolute best.

For Jake, barbering has never been just about cutting hair.

It's about taking the time to listen, understanding what each client wants and creating an experience that feels personal, professional and relaxed from start to finish.

Whether it's a regular haircut, a fresh skin fade or grooming for a special occasion, every appointment is delivered with the same care, professionalism and attention to detail.

The Little Jacob's Experience

Great barbering isn't just about how you leave looking. It's about how you're treated throughout the appointment.

Quality

Every appointment is delivered with the same attention to detail, whether it's a fresh skin fade, beard trim or complete restyle. No shortcuts, no rushing.

Consistency

Clients know exactly what to expect every time they book. Professional service, punctuality and a haircut finished to the highest standard.

Relationships

Great barbering starts with understanding people. Jake takes the time to listen, build trust and create an experience clients genuinely enjoy.

The Little Jacob's Approach

For Jake, barbering has never been just about cutting hair.

It's about helping people feel their best.

Every appointment starts with a conversation. Understanding what a client wants, what suits their face shape, lifestyle and personal style, and most importantly, how they want to feel when they leave the chair.

Whether it's a skin fade, beard reshape, restyle or a regular maintenance cut, Jake takes the time to listen, offer honest advice and make sure every detail is right before the clippers even come out.

It's one of the reasons clients continue to come back week after week. They know they'll receive the same level of care, attention to detail and professionalism every single time they book.

In an industry that can often feel rushed, Jake believes great barbering comes from taking your time, perfecting the details and never treating people like just another appointment in the diary.

A sharp haircut can change how you look.

The confidence that comes with it can change how you feel.

From Self-Taught Beginnings To 15+ Years Of Experience

Jake's journey into barbering started long before Little Jacob's Barbering existed.

As a teenager, he couldn't always afford regular haircuts, so he decided to learn how to cut his own hair instead. What began as trial and error quickly became a genuine passion. Hours were spent practising techniques, studying the work of leading barbers and constantly refining his skills.

Before long, friends were asking Jake to cut their hair too. As word spread and confidence grew, barbering evolved from a hobby into a career.

Over the years, Jake built his experience working within barber shops, eventually progressing into management roles and helping to train and develop other barbers. Whilst the industry has changed, one thing has remained the same - a commitment to continually improving and delivering the highest standard of service possible.

Today, every haircut combines over 15 years of experience with the same attention to detail and passion that first inspired him to pick up a pair of clippers.

"I never wanted to be the barber that rushed people through a haircut. The details matter."
